Our School
Terry Fox Public School serves a population of 470 students in grades K-8 in Ajax Ontario.
Terry Fox Public School provides learning opportunities for students from Kindergarten to Grade 8. The school opened in September of 2002. We are proud to have the name of this great Canadian Hero for our school. The official opening was April 10, 2003, attended by several dignitaries, including Mr. and Mrs. Fox, Terry's Mom and Dad.
We focus our learning around the Ministry of Education Curriculum Expectations, foster personal growth through Character Education and strive to provide an enriching and rewarding environment through our Behaviour Expectations. The school team works collaboratively to emphasize success for each student. We celebrate the wealth of cultural backgrounds which are the framework of our school community.
