Welcome to Terry Fox P.S.!
A special welcome to new families who are joining our community. Terry Fox is a great school. We encourage our students to reach their highest potential and to demonstrate responsibility for their learning and community. We are proud of the many academic and co-curricular activities that take place throughout the year and we have been recognized across the Province for our work in equity and inclusion. Our amazing staff maintain high expectations for each of our students and strive to support achievement as well as well-being.
Terry Fox has a strong community connection where families, community members, staff and students work together to promote healthy development of all our students. We believe that all children will learn best in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment. We aim to achieve that goal by offering resources, lessons, teams and clubs that represent the interests and experiences of our students. We aim to create a community of learners who enjoy their learning, and are curious problem solvers for the future.
Our families are valued partners in our school. Please be sure to introduce yourself to your child’s educators as well as the Principal and Vice Principal. We welcome volunteers and are happy to chat and answer questions at any time.
Regular communication between home and school is essential for optimum learning. Emails are sent regularly to ensure everyone know what's happening! Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
